Research Interest: My interests are in systematics and biogeography of Coleoptera Tenebrionidae from South America. I have focused on cladistics relationships between the genera and species of three Neotropical tribes of the subfamily Pimeliinae inhabiting arid lands of Southern South America. In this research I am using morphological characters from external morphology and new data such as internal morphology and male and female genitalia, which provide important characters with a height taxonomic value.
